Blue Marble Media wins top international awards for three video productions
ATLANTA – The MarCom Awards recently honored Blue Marble Media with a platinum – the organization’s top honor – and two gold awards for its outstanding work in the concept, design and production of videos for three of the company’s clients. The MarCom Awards is an annual international competition that recognizes excellence in the communication profession.
The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals judged the competition and selected the winners from nearly 5,000 entries submitted by organizations and individuals in the United States and a number of foreign countries.

Blue Marble won platinum in the Web Video category for a high-image piece created in collaboration with The Voyager Group, an ad agency based in Laguna Beach, CA. The video was produced strategically for placement on the Web to promote Irvine Spectrum Center, a retail facility located in Orange County, California.
In the Marketing Film/Video category, MarCom awarded Blue Marble gold for its design and production of one of the Portraits in Leadership video profile series. The two – to three-minute videos showcased how Manhattan Associates’ clients are successfully implementing supply chain strategies and initiatives.
For its work with The Georgia Department of Economic Development, Blue Marble won its second gold award for the production of a promotional video to reinforce the state’s campaign to attract international businesses to Georgia.

Manhattan Associates honors its clients with “Portraits in Leadership” video profile series
In an innovative marketing and client-relations move, Manhattan Associates is putting its customers in the spotlight with video profiles that highlight each company’s successful supply chain strategies and initiatives. Blue Marble Media crews conduct interviews with key client personnel and then capture photography that depicts the client’s brand. The interviews and photography are then edited with music and graphics to create a two- to three-minute show.
The first four “Portraits in Leadership” profiles premiered in May at Manhattan’s annual User Conference, Momentum 2009. The clients featured included Carter’s/Oshkosh, Simon & Schuster, Giant Eagle and Whirlpool.
Additional profile videos are underway for David’s Bridal and Jockey, with others to follow later in the year.

Carter USA Taps Blue Marble
For Web Site Redesign & Video Content Creation
Four years after completing the Carter real estate company’s current web site, Blue Marble is currently redesigning the firm’s site to reflect the company’s innovative culture and unique personality. The new design called for three days of still photography as well as three days of video interviews with Carter clients and company executives, including a shoot in London with one of Carter’s international clients.

Commercials For Irvine Spectrum Center
In Irvine, California
Working in conjunction with California-based ad agency The Voyager Group, Blue Marble is producing two spots for a high-image Orange County shopping destination, Irvine Spectrum Center. The commercials were shot on location at Irvine Spectrum over the course of two days with international fashion models and included elegant settings in premier restaurants and exclusive retail environments. The spots are currently in post production at Blue Marble’s Atlanta facilities.
Blue Marble Introduces New Division
To Produce Films for the Private Market
After nearly 14 years serving the film, video and web site design needs of corporate clients, Blue Marble introduces Cooper Maron, a new division focused on film and video production for private individuals. Cooper Maron films can be anything from a History Channel or PBS-style family history film or tribute video … to a broadcast quality documentary covering special events such as adventure vacations, retirement celebrations, weddings and private sporting events. Cooper Maron produces all its films and documentaries in high-definition using nationally honored writers, directors, producers and crew. Original music, celebrity hosts and international locations are all possible in the creation of a Cooper Maron film.

Houston International Film Festival
Honors Two Blue Marble Films
The Houston International Film Festival bestowed honors on a high-fashion image piece and a corporate overview film, both conceived and produced by Blue Marble Media. A Gold Remi was awarded to the corporate overivew production for client CitationShares of Greenwich, CT. A Bronze Remi was awarded to the image film for One Scottsdale, a mixed use facility in Arizona, for client The Voyager Group of Aliso Veijo, CA.

Child Abuse Goes National
Blue Marble Media recently completed a series of training videos for the Prevent Child Abuse Georgia organization. Initially, 10,000 copies of the program were distributed throughout Georgia to train daycare workers about steps they can take to help parents prevent child abuse in the home. The program was so successful it is now being distributed nationally.
Web Videos Help Sell Private Jets
CitationShares of Greenwich, CT, tapped Blue Marble to create a series of six marketing videos specifically for use on the company’s website. Shot in Hi-Def and hosted by CBS golf commentator Ian Baker-Finch, the videos present a wide variety of benefits of fractional ownership of private jets through CitationShares, one of the top four companies in that industry.
HD Video Shoot on Location

Blue Marble Media crew members joined top executives from Manhattan Associates, Atlanta, for an HD video shoot at the company’s offices in Bangalore, India. The footage will be used for a variety of productions including a recruitment video for Manhattan’s India division, as well as a corporate overview video for the company and various other marketing and HR uses.
